I'm a somewhat local that comes in on occasion but not for the icecream (or gelato it's not very good) i come for the Italian coffee which can be amazing. The services is often so so but they are pleasant. But after this last experience I'm done going out of my way. I walk in, no acknowledgement. 2 women in their 40-50s working behind the counter having a conversation, i order my coffee. No thank you, no smile. When i leave no goodbye, have a nice day, nothing. They continued their conversation the whole time i was there. The only thing she said to me was my total. I really felt like i was a bother to then for stopping in there. And the coffee wasnt even fresh or hot. Amazingly bad service and luke warm coffee? I don't think so.
We love Heavenlys! The gelato is great. Its a little overpriced, but there is always a line and the service is friendly. We definitely will go back every time we are in Seaside.
So disappointed with this place. Took wife and kids here after dinner. The girl behind the counter acted like we had insulted her by asking for some samples. She would roll her eyes and basically looked miserable at her job. The guy in front of me order two scoops and they were both so small, he asked another lady behind the counter if it looked like two scoops to her and her reply was something like “what...do you want it for free?” All in all we ordered 3 cones (my stepdaughter’s come was so stale she couldn’t even bite into it) and it came to over $25. The ice cream was average at best....Publix has better ice cream. If you want terrible service, insanely overpriced ice cream which isn’t very good, this is the place for you. Amazing these folks don’t realize how they’re losing customers left and right.
Best dessert spot in town
Good ice cream, though fat could have been slightly higher. Ice cream snobs, like me, know what I mean.
Soooo good! Kids love it!
Incredible ice cream. Is a little pricy for what your getting but VERY good ice cream. I got caramel cookie crunch and it was gelato. Highly recommend that kind. It was very very very good. I highly recommend this place.
Grandkids and I had deserts here 5 times in the week we stayed at SeaSide,I personally could not avoid it if I wanted to.
Really good gelato I would recommend if the line is not out the door
They had very limited flavors of ice cream. They had many flavors of sorbet. The ice cream tasted like it had freezer burn and fir one scoop of freezer burn, not very tasty ice cream $4.00. You’ve got to be kidding. You should be ashamed of yourself. The ice cream was probably in the freezer the whole sinter because that’s what it tasted like. My husband had 2 scoops of freezer burn ice cream, horrible. Initially he was going to get a sundae but you want $9.00 for a sundae?! Boy you have a set!
Best butter pecan in a waffle cone that I’ve had. The ice cream is very rich and creamy. I will definitely be back!
Y’all should update your google hours since this is a vacation spot. Y’all aren’t open until 10pm. Thanks a lot.
My sister and I love Heavenly's. The cookie dough ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, and brownies are all really good. My sister tried the gelado last week and said it was really good. The only thing about this place is that it's a little overpriced but its worth it. If you're in the Seaside square and want something sweet, go to Heavenly's!
Just ok ice cream and service. Good seating available outside. Did not taste gelato so can not comment on it.
Yum. Loved it. Had the shortcake ice cream.
Great place to enjoy a cone with family or friends
Make your own ice cream on a hot summer day. I recommend fresh peach and vanilla with a drizzle of caramel. Trust me, add the caramel. Brings out the peaches in ways hard to imagine.
Like most other things in this neighborhood, you pay extra for the location. Having said that, the portions were too small for the money. Down the beach (and ON the beach) at Hilton's resort you pay about the same but you get about double the ice cream, meaning, two people can have ice cream for the price you pay for one (1) here.
Absolutely the most hateful staff I have ever personally experienced. Ice cream is decent, but the prices and poor customer service is not worth going back. We visit Seaside a few times a year, and will never be back to Heavenly’s. . Store hours are also inaccurate on website. We took our time at dinner assuming they closed at 11....we showed up at 10:15 to find they were closed with the employees sitting on the counters in the store on their phones.
Ridiculously expensive with mediocre products. It's almost $10 per person to have dessert here.My family of six cost $54 with tax.If u don't mind the money issue...then an accurate dessert review would be...'meh'.At Publix nearby...For under $20 you can get 3 pints of Ben and Jerry's and a box of 6 Mayfield ice cream sandwiches. All of which tasted a lot better. We even bought spoons and took it all down to the beach for a moonlight stroll.
It is less than heavenly!9 dollars the ice cream cone!!!too sweet and too pricey.not to talk about gelato!bellow gelato, more like ice cream that you buy from walmart
Forget heaven, this place is hell. Service was so bad I walked out and took my business to Dawson’s (really good, try it). Manager was so rude to my group and the groups behind me. Save your money and don’t come here.
if i could give less than 1 star, i would. staff was impersonal and ice cream was subpar for the price. would recommend going to publix for ice cream over this place. not happy with service or flavor. my waffle cone tasted like soggy toilet paper.
Edit: It seems mismanagement and rude behavior is something that follows all their businesses: Pickles, Dawson’s yogurt, Shrimp Shack, and here. I wouldn’t recommend visiting any of these establishments until things change across the board. They keep changing times they are open. We have asked the last three nights what the hours are for the next day and they are always closed. Tonight we called at 7 and were told they would be open until 7:45 but close the doors on the crowd at 7:30. I asked again what the hours are for the following day but I can’t trust the response considering they have lied the past three days. I can’t get any contact for the owners and the employees refuse to talk or answer questions. As someone who has been coming to seaside all my life I will never return here or any of our guests based on how we’ve been treated for just trying to get clarification. I wish we had a contact to reach so this wouldn’t have to be so public, but there is none.
Ok just an ice cream store......
Absolutely terrible experience the girl behind the counter was so rude an disrespectful I asked for a banana split only to be told they don’t have bananas I asked if I could have it without the bananas and she rudely told me no! I’m confused your asking 10.00 which I was willing to pay and you still would not sell it to me. I told her this was Supposed to be a friendly place an that I have my 4 year old with me and there was no reason to be rude to us in front of everyone, I was so embarrassed I couldn’t believe how rude she was to us my family an I come here every time we’re here in town but today will be the last dollar I spend in there establishment... if you want horrible customer service and over priced ice cream we’ll ask for terry that’s the girl that was so rude to us... by the way I payed with 100.00 bill my total was 87.00 and she gave me 72.00 back I had to tell her she shorted me my change and still owed me money so make sure you count your change back.....
Fun ice cream shop in Seaside. It has gelato! Pretty much a must stop if you have kids. Naturally it is on the pricey side since it is Seaside, but it is good ice cream with a wide selection that includes milkshakes, coke floats, gelato, smoothies, and coke in the bottle.
Decent ice cream, but the staff was not attentive to requests. During peak hours, it is difficult to see necessary information of which line to be in or whom serves what.
THE BEST ice cream in town!! I recommended this place and it’s maybe some of the best gelato I’ve ever had
Extremely rude service! The person behind the register rang up the wrong items and asked another employee for assistance in voiding the transaction. The other woman acted annoyed and told her that voiding the transaction was impossible and insisted we pay for the wrong items. Not only were we charged for the wrong thing, but we didn't even get the correct change back. Also the ice cream wasn't even worth the price.
We loved it! Found something for everyone - ice cream, gelato, coffee and frozen key lime pie on a stick! Had a great time there with the kids and grandkids.......one of our favorites!
Place is not setup well to take more than a few customers at the same time. Only space for a few customers wide and the line starts a few feet inside the main door which means almost everybody waits outside with the door open. They have a few separate registers if you're ordering ice cream or gelato, but because of the way the line works, you couldn't effectively get in to see what they have without choosing which line to be in, so there was this awkward dance when people found out they were in the ice cream line and then wanted to get in front of the gelato line. It just needs some more thought on how the line works and the overall ordering experience.
Fun place with great ice cream, yeah it’s a little high on price but what isn’t down here on the beach...enjoyed the biscotti flavor gelato
I had some excellent ice cream. Very good. Needed a little more inside space for the line.
Horrible experience at this place. Found a hard piece of plastic in my gelato - concerning since the majority of the clientele for this place are families with small children. Very rude female employee would not give me a refund or the name or contact information for the manager.
The gelato was really good. This place is pricey but so is everywhere else in the area. 😁 Good variety and esp liked how many sorbet flavors there were for the dairy free people. We had key lime sorbet, lemoncello sorbet, birthday cake gelato, raspberry cheesecake gelato, coconut gelato and cotton candy ice cream and everyone loved theirs. The girls working the countef had zero personality or were having a bad day. That was disappointing because part of the charm and allure of this area and willingness to spend this kind of money is the friendliness and welcoming atmosphere. I even tried hard to interact with one of the girls and get her to smile and nothing. Would recommend you give this place a try anyway. Hopefully the owners do some staff re-training soon or find some other people. 😂
Wonderful raspberry sorbet and outdoor seating!
We love getting some gelato, sorbet, or ice cream from here to cool off for a bit. We've been coming here for three years and it's always been fantastic and the kids inside have always been friendly and helpful. My personal favorite on a hot day is half limoncello, half key lime pie gelato.
Poor customer service, all of the staff were rude and ice cream had poor taste.
Great Icecream and great customer service! They have a very large selection of gelato and a decent variety of icecream. The price is also very reasonable: ~$4 for 1 bowl of icecream. The gelato is a little pricier than the icecream, but that’s to be expected (~$9 for 1 bowl). They have a wide selection of waffle cones, bowls, and cake cones! Would definitely recommend!
Gelato is delicious.
great ice cream and service.
We read some bad reviews about bad customer service and high prices. Well, the price was high, but the sweet girl who waited on us was named Lashundra, and she greeted us with the brightest and warmest smile! She was worth the risk we took! She told me it was her first day. And the Anna Belle was awesome!!
I took my son and daughter. We ordered two sorbet cones and a small mango smoothie. A bit over priced but hey it's a tourist town at peak season. Product very similar to Pino Gelato. What I didn't expect was their idea of a "scoop" is an almost heaping tablespoon, seriously. My son got a waffle cone and had to eat down the cone to get to the sorbet. I figured it was just the server not trained to make a real scoop. That was not it, my wife stopped in with my son and same skimpy serving. They need to get mini sized cones and change their price board graphic from a traditional looking ice cream cone to their meager scrapes of gelato. Cute town, but next visit will be off season. Hopefully the grid lock and long lines will be gone.
Its was great ice cream. I do recommend the cookie monster.
Poor service and expensive
Nothing fancy. Everything tasted like you could pick it up at your local grocery store. Price was for top notch ice cream but far from that.
"What flavor you want!?" isn't the best way to greet your customers. The gelato is fine but overpriced.
